About Spruce & Heron

Born out of a love for Canada’s great outdoors, Spruce and Heron is a home décor, apparel and lifestyle shop with nature-inspired designs. 

It’s a shop for those desiring to surround themselves with stress-relieving reminders of natural places and things. Whether it be a trail, a park or a cottage setting.

In 2020 many Canadians found solace and serenity by escaping on walks in urban and rural nature trails. National and provincial parks and conversation areas were hot destinations.  

The lure… an escape from concrete, metal, brick and glass, to lush greenery, glimpses of wild animals, the smell of pine and cedars, and the feel of dirt under one’s feet. Being in a natural setting is one of the best stress- and anxiety-relievers.

For the growing community of nature lovers, the Bourne family opened their online shop, with items created using a blend of their own art and photography, and other crafted nature designs.

A portion of our proceeds goes to supporting Canadian trails. 

Launching initially for the Canadian market, with plans for future expansion.
